Meaningful Movies: Princess Angeline

Wednesday, Oct 8, 7pm

The story of the daughter of Chief Seattle, who lived much of her life alone and steadfastly on her ancestral land. The documentary explores the historical events that left her among the few Duwamish people remaining in Seattle by the 1890s, just 35 years after the peace treaty. Through her life, the film examines the broader story of the Duwamish and their unrecognized tribal status. Meaningful Movies is free and open to the public—come for the film, stay for the conversation.

Friday, Oct 17, 3:30–6PM

We’re rolling up our sleeves to make Luther’s Table sparkle—and we could use a few extra hands! Come for the whole time or just drop in for an hour. We’ll be tackling everything from scrubbing to sorting, dishes to dusting, windows to wiping, mopping to magic-making (okay, maybe just fresh flowers in a vase—but close enough!). Because let’s be honest: clean spaces make room for messy community—the best kind.
